Join us at the Dwares JCC as we put the best of Jewish culture on display for all of Rhode Island! The Jewish Culture Fest will feature live musical performances on outdoor stages, dance performances, stand-up comedy, family-friendly Kid Zone, community art exhibit, storytellers, food, beer garden, whiskey tasting, open-air artisan market and more!

Highlights include:

  • Ezekiel's Wheels, one of the world's top klezmer ensembles.
  • Raza, a musical listening project that explores the feminine sound in old Hasidic melodies.
  • Jacob's Ladder, an international touring band seeking to push the boundaries of contemporary Jewish music and traditional American Roots music.
  • Rachel Linsky/Zachor, an ongoing series that seeks to preserve the words of WWII Holocaust survivors through dance.
  • Myq Kaplan, a standup comedian who has appeared on the Tonight Show, Conan, Letterman, James Corden, Seth Meyers, Comedy Central, Last Comic Standing, and America’s Got Talent.
  • Mark Binder, an Audie Award nominated author of more than two dozen books and audiobooks for children, families and adults. He has performed in parking lots and basements, in theaters, at festivals, pubs, churches, synagogues, nightclubs and schools around the world.

  • Community art exhibit: Dining in the Diaspora
    Open call! Dining in the Diaspora is a group exhibition about food, tradition, and welcoming others to our table. Open to artists of all backgrounds, and all mediums (except actual edible food.)   • Artisan and craft vendors
    Calling all talented crafters, artisans, and creators of original handmade items, the Jewish Alliance is now accepting vendor applications for space in the arts marketplace at the Jewish Culture Fest. Art and craft items need to be either Jewish-related or made by Jewish artists. Applications due by Monday, April 15th. Click here for more details and to apply.
