At the David C. Isenberg Family Early Childhood Center we are dedicated to providing a quality, child-centered, developmental program that includes age-appropriate educational and Judaic experiences in a secure and loving atmosphere that fosters cognitive, physical, emotional, and social growth.

Our Early Childhood Center (ECC) provides high-quality half- and full-day early childhood education programs within an enriched Jewish environment. We are dedicated to providing a secure and loving atmosphere so that young children can develop a positive self-image and grow intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially. We welcome children of all faiths and backgrounds!

Our educational approach values learning experiences through play, with activities and materials that encourage creativity, self-expression, and inquiry. The daily schedule is a consistent routine, which allows for flexibility and attention to individual interests and preferences. Our well-qualified staff, combined with low student-teacher ratios, enables each child to develop a sense of mastery and self-confidence in their abilities.

Fully licensed by Rhode Island’s Department of Human Services (DHS) our ECC adheres to all DHS regulations policies, and procedures. Committed to meeting national standards of quality, the ECC is also accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) as well as Bright Stars. Our care providers and teachers are carefully screened, chosen for their love of children, and trained in CPR and first aid.

Bring your child into a warm, caring environment that fosters positive Jewish identity and values, while creating a sense of community and respecting the diverse backgrounds of our ECC families.

Infant & Toddler Program

The Infant and Toddler Program provides quality care and education for infants (ages 3 - 17 months), and toddlers (ages 18 - 36 months)

The ratio of staff to infants is 1 to 4 and staff to toddlers is 1 to 6 to ensure that your child is getting the attention and stimulation they need. A dairy/kosher lunch is included for our full-day students.

Preschool Program

Young children learn best by doing. At the ECC, we focus on active thinking and experimenting by encouraging children to find out how things work. Our goal is for children to learn firsthand about the world in which we live.

Our Preschool program provides quality early childhood education to children ages 3 through 5 years. Children learn about Jewish culture and heritage in a creative environment. The day is comfortably structured with age-appropriate learning tasks, play activities, proper hygiene, snack, lunch, and rest.
