How can a gift of just $1,000 have a meaningful and long-term impact on Jewish communities in Rhode Island and Israel?
This powerful effect comes from collective investment with Women’s Alliance Endowment Fund (WAEF) of the Jewish Federation Foundation. The fund has grown significantly since its 1993 inception with more than 130 membership contributions of $1,000 each. Every WAEF member has a voice in the annual grant program that supports educational, health, cultural, and social services and programs.
To inquire about becoming a member, contact our team at endowment@jewishallianceri.org or call 401.421.4111.
Since 1997, the WAEF has distributed more than $140,300 in grants to a variety of organizations in Rhode Island and overseas. In 2023, allocations totaling $9,350 were awarded to the following programs:
Local:
- Jewish Collaborative Services – $600 for Havurah at Tamarisk
