In this week’s message I talk about the Alliance’s eleventh annual meeting, which took place last night. We honored Jamie Pious for his service as Alliance Board Chair for the last three years, and we welcomed and installed our new Board Chair, Harris Chorney. Today, I’d like to share with you a little about how much Jamie has done for our community these last three years, and introduce you to Harris, who I know will continue building on Jamie’s success.

Finally, as I complete my fifth year as CEO of the Alliance, I could not be more proud of all we have done together, and I’m excited for what comes next. I’m grateful to all of you for your continued support, for your dedication to our community. This work only succeeds when we do it together, so thank you for being a part of that!

Until next time, I wish you a safe, peaceful, and joyous Shabbat.

Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat Shalom,
Adam Greenman
President & CEO

PS: While the Alliance doesn’t usually participate in activities that take place during Shabbat, we are making an exception this weekend. For those of you who will be attending Rhode Island’s Pride Fest, I hope you’ll stop by the Dwares JCC table and say hello! And I’d like to wish all those who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies, a very happy Pride month!
