I hope you’ve had a great week! It’s hard to believe, but we are halfway through the summer. I know that none of us want to hear that, but today I hope to give you something to look forward to in September. Jewish Culture Fest is coming back. Last year the Alliance launched the first ever Jewish Culture Fest to bring our community together for a day celebrating everything we love about being Jewish. More than 1,000 people joined us outside of the Bonnie & Donald Dwares JCC for great music, food, dance, art, and much more. And we brought together people from all faiths that day, helping us to fight antisemitism in a subtle but impactful way.

On September 14th, we’re doing it again...

The only thing we need now is you! As I said, this event is an excellent way for our community to come together for great fun and to celebrate who we are. But it’s also a great opportunity to share our culture with others. The event is free and open to everyone, so please put it on your calendar, and tell your friends, your neighbors, and everyone you know to join us. For more information, you can visit our website, jewishallianceri.org. We hope to see you here on September 14th.

In this time of uncertainty and strife, opportunities like Jewish Culture Fest remind us that there is much joy to celebrate. I hope you’ll join us.

Until next time, I wish you a safe, peaceful, and joyous Shabbat.

Shabbat Shalom,
Adam Greenman
