I hope you’ve had a great week! Here at the Alliance, it’s been an amazing week, as we’ve been making final preparations for this Sunday’s Jewish Culture Fest! It’s going to be an incredible day, filled with so many opportunities for us to celebrate who we are, and to share it with our entire Rhode Island community.

On our main stage, we’ll have performances throughout the day, including from Ezekiel’s Wheels, Raza, Jacob’s Ladder, and Rachel Linsky. We’ll have storytelling from Mark Binder and comedy from Myq Kaplan. Our Kids Zone will feature a performance from Rock-a-Baby, as well as opportunities for kids to play in the bounce house and much more.

Beyond the live performances, you can take in a community art exhibit called Dining in the Diaspora, featuring local Jewish artists from across Rhode Island. We’ll have Jewish artisans selling their crafts. You can enjoy a kosher whisky tasting and kosher beers in our beer garden. And of course, you can sample a variety of delicious kosher and kosher-style foods throughout the day.

The only thing we need is you! Help us make it an incredible day by joining us, by bringing your family, your friends, and your neighbors. Let’s show everyone what we love about who we are as a people, and what makes our culture so great.

In a time where it can feel hard to be Jewish, this is an opportunity for us to come together, to share with others, and to be incredibly proud of our community. I hope you’ll join us!

Until next time, I wish you a safe, peaceful, and joyous Shabbat.

Shabbat Shalom,
Adam Greenman
President & CEO
