I returned to work last week after my recent surgery, and it feels so good to be back. But stepping away for about a month also had its benefits. In addition to focusing on my recovery, the extended time away gave me the opportunity to put some things into perspective while giving me a new perspective in other areas.

Being away gave me the perspective to see that while our Jewish community faces major challenges, from the war in Gaza, to rising antisemitism, to the day-to-day challenges that come with community, that we also have everything we need to address these challenges head on: we have each other. The thoughtfulness, work ethic, and generosity of this community is unmatched, and I know there is nothing we can’t tackle together.
And I’m so excited to be back to continue that work with all of you. Thank you all for everything.
Until next time, I wish you a safe, peaceful, and joyous Shabbat.
Shabbat Shalom,
Adam Greenman
