In this week's message, I reflect on a recent trip I took to Israel with my family, and the two places that truly exemplify the heart of the connection between Yom Ha’Shoah and Yom Ha’Atzmaut.

The Holocaust Remembrance Garden at the Dwares JCC has a sign that reads Am Yisrael Chai, the People of Israel live. We live. And in this week of commemoration and celebration, may we all remember that our purpose here is to live, to continue to create a strong, vibrant community for everyone.

Until next time, I wish you a safe, peaceful, and joyous Shabbat.

Shabbat Shalom,
Adam Greenman
