On October 7, a difficult and painful day, we have an opportunity to come together and turn our care and concern into action. Join us as we do something meaningful for both our local community and Israel.
Together, in partnership with Jewish Collaborative Services and Leket Israel, we will have the opportunity to help prepare emergency bags for members of our local community and also lend a hand in the community pantry. At the same time, we will explore more about Leket Israel, Israel’s national food bank and leading food rescue organization, and the important work they do to help provide food to those in need across Israel.
On a difficult day, let’s come together as a community to help others, learn, connect, and make a difference.
Emergency bag preparation is from 1pm - 2:30pm and has room for everyone. Food Pantry volunteering is from 10am to 12pm and there are three spots available, so sign up now!
