Join us August 20th at noon as we start our Lunch and Learn series with Rabbi Neimeiser! The rabbi will talk about how Jewish identity, themes, and figures are portrayed in pop culture—from the reverent to the irreverent, the sacred to the profane.
Through film, television, music, and comedy, Jews have played a unique and evolving role in shaping and being shaped by popular culture. This session will delve into what these portrayals say about Jewish values, assimilation, identity, and influence.
Please RSVP to Emily Gaudreau, egaudreau@jewishallianceri.org by August 15th.
