Join us for an important in-person community gathering featuring the Zoom presentation “Keeping Our Children Safe” by Rabbi Yakov Horowitz, a respected educator and leading advocate for child safety and well-being.
Rabbi Horowitz will share practical, values-based strategies for protecting children and creating safe, healthy environments within our families and faith communities. His message is timely, universally relevant, and an essential conversation for all who care about the welfare of children.
The presentation will include a discussion with moderator Dr. Nathan Beraha during and after the talk.
Light refreshments will be served, and books will be available for purchase.
Rabbi Yakov Horowitz, Founding Dean of Yeshiva Darchei Noam of Monsey, is an innovative educator, author, and child safety advocate who received the prestigious 2008 Covenant Award in recognition of his contribution to Jewish education. In partnership with ArtScroll, he published, “Let’s Stay Safe,” the groundbreaking child safety book that is currently in over 155,000 homes in three languages, as well as the Bright Beginnings Gemarah and Chumash workbooks that are in over 100 schools, and thousands of parents follow his parenting clips on WhatsApp and Instagram @brightbeginningsforum and @yakovhorowitz. Rabbi Horowitz serves as Senior Family Support Mentor and Educational Consultant at Kesher Families which provides support and guidance to Orthodox parents raising LGBTQ children.
