Vigil for Fall River’s Jewish Community to be held on March 26

A Vigil of Solidarity for the recently desecrated Hebrew Cemetery in Fall River will take place on Tuesday, March 26 at 5:30pm at the cemetery, located at 73 McMahon St., Fall River.

The vigil will be led by Rabbi Mark Elber and Cantor Shoshanna Brown. Those in attendance will include members of the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities as well as members of the Jewish War Veterans, VFW, Massachusetts National Guard and others.

We invite you to join with those who stand with the Jewish Community against anti-Semitism and other forms of hatred.

For those interested, Shalom Memorial Chapel, located at 1100 New London Avenue in Cranston, will lead a procession to the vigil (departing the Chapel at 3:00pm). Carpooling is encouraged, as the cemetery has limited parking.
