There’s always a lot going on this time of year. Often the arrival of spring marks the start of our summer planning. It’s this reason that I’m asking you now to mark your calendar for our 2018 Annual Meeting taking place at the Dwares JCC on Wednesday, June 13 at 7:00pm.
This year marks the Jewish Alliance’s seventh Annual Meeting and my first as CEO. Having worked in the non-profit sector for a number of years, I have attended my fair share of similar events. Annual meetings are a time for us to stop and reflect on the work that has been accomplished. It is a moment to celebrate and honor those who have helped us get to where we are. In addition to this, and equally as important, it gives us an opportunity to look forward–together as a community.
There are so many people who have contributed their time, talents, and support to the work of the Alliance. On June 13, we have the opportunity to say “thank you” and recognize them for that support.
In addition to welcoming and installing new board members, we will be honoring a select few who have gone above and beyond in their service for the betterment of our entire Jewish community.
I ask you to plan on joining us as we show our appreciation for what has been accomplished and celebrate our vision of what’s to come.
In closing, I remind you that we are approaching the end of our 2018 Annual Campaign. If you haven’t already done so, please consider making a gift to support our Jewish community.
Wishing you a peaceful Shabbat.
Adam Greenman, President & CEO
