Shabbat Shalom: Rosh Hashanah and the First Day of School

In this week’s message I talk about the ongoing issue facing students, families, and educators in the Bristol Warren School District, and the work we are doing to ensure the first day of school does not fall on the first day of Rosh Hashanah.

The Bristol Warren School Committee meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 19, at 6:00pm, at Mt. Hope High School, located at 199 Chestnut Street in Bristol. The link to the virtual meeting will be made available here.

At the Alliance, we’ll never stop working to build Jewish community, but we will also never stop fighting for the rights of our community when necessary. Together, we can also make sure that every member of our community can celebrate the new year in a way that is meaningful for them.
Until next time, I wish you a safe, peaceful, and joyous Shabbat.
Shabbat Shalom!

Sincerely,
Adam Greenman
