We, as Jews, are a people of both collective and personal memory. We recall our Exodus from Egypt, and we remember departed parents, grandparents, and friends.
Memory is such a powerful tool. As we approach the end of this High Holiday period of reflection, I once again present the following words written by Rabbi Jack Reimer, which so perfectly capture that which resides in my heart as I remember my beloved father.
Shabbat Shalom, and may the memories of your loved ones be for a blessing.
