Shabbat Shalom: Opportunities to Commemorate and Celebrate
Dear Friend:
In this week’s message I talk about the many opportunities in the days ahead for us to come together to commemorate and to celebrate.
I hope you’ll join us for the following events:
- Yom Ha’Shoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, Wednesday, April 27, 7:00pm at the Holocaust Memorial in Downtown Providence.
- Yom Ha’Zikaron, Israel’s Memorial Day, Tuesday, May 3, 7:00pm via Zoom with the Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts.
- Yom Ha’Atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day, Thursday, May 5, 5:00pm in-person at the Dwares JCC for a shuk-themed party with PJ Library, Clover Food Lab (pre-orders required) and more.
- An Evening with Bret Stephens, Thursday, May 19, 7:30pm, in-person at the Dwares JCC and streaming for those who are unable to join us.
It is so wonderful to be getting together again, and I cannot wait to see you at the Dwares JCC, and at other events throughout our greater Rhode Island Jewish community in the next few weeks and months.
Until next time, I wish you a safe, peaceful, and joyous Shabbat.
Shabbat Shalom!
Sincerely,
Adam Greenman
