Shabbat Shalom: Help Shape Our Future
As we transition to autumn, there is a sense of renewal in the air. The last week has signified the beginning of a new school year and the return to familiar routines, and in the next few weeks, preparations for Rosh Hashanah and the New Year — allowing us to reflect on the past and offering us the opportunity to look ahead.
The Jewish Alliance is embarking on a process to develop a new strategic plan to guide our work over the next three years. The most important part of the process is hearing from you — greater Rhode Island’s Jewish community. Your feedback will help us to better understand the challenges facing our community, and the hopes we all share for our future. This information will help us build a plan that responds directly to the community we serve.
Your input is critical to the process, and we have created a variety of ways to collect your feedback. We will be gathering information through one-on-one interviews, online surveys, large-group meetings, and more intimate small group discussions in the homes of community members. In each case, we will focus on the future, and what a stronger, more vibrant Jewish community looks like.
Your input is essential. Help shape the future of the Alliance and its place in the greater Rhode Island Jewish community.
Wishing you a peaceful Shabbat.
