Membership Account Options during COVID-19

Dear Friend:

First, thank you to all of you who have contacted us in response to our emails. We appreciate all the support and good wishes that you’ve sent! The Alliance’s Dwares JCC is all about community and connection. As a non-profit organization we are looking at how we can continue to fulfill our mission and support our incredible staff through the COVID-19 pandemic.

As you know, membership dues and program fees are critical to the financial health of the JCC. We, like many other organizations, have been in the complicated process of considering how we might maintain operations during this time.

Below are three options for you to consider regarding your JCC membership. Please read through them and select the option that best works for your situation. Please know that we respect and honor each member’s decision.

OPTION 1: CONTINUE YOUR MEMBERSHIP
(No action required)
Our members are the lifeblood of our organization. While our facilities may be temporarily closed, we are continuing to offer and share FREE virtual programming whenever possible. If you’d like to continue your membership, no action is needed at this time.
— Your monthly draft will continue while we are closed. Because you will not be receiving services for your payment during this time, this will be considered a tax deductible donation.
This is very much appreciated!

OPTION 2: KEEP YOUR MEMBERSHIP BUT AT A 50% REDUCTION (Action required by March 31)
We understand that this crisis will continue to create health and financial hardships. This option allows you to continue your JCC membership, but at a reduced rate while the building is closed.
–Your monthly draft will continue while we are closed — at a lesser rate. Because you will not be receiving services for your payment during this time, this will be considered a tax deductible donation.
Contact our Member Services team by March 31 at memberservices@jewishallianceri.org.
In your email, please reference that you have chosen Option 2.

OPTION 3: FREEZE YOUR MEMBERSHIP
(Action required by March 31)
By selecting this option, we will temporarily pause your monthly payment plan. The freeze will automatically be removed when the building reopens. In the event that you need more time to get back on your feet after we reopen, you can contact our Member Services team to extend the freeze, and we will not resume the payment plan until you lift the freeze.

In your email, please reference that you have chosen Option 3.

Families enrolled in our Early Childhood Center will be receiving information on Wednesday regarding tuition options.

We understand the gravity of this unprecedented request. If you are in a position to continue to pay dues and/or program fees — even at a 50% reduction — we are grateful. And if you find yourself in need of assistance now or in the coming days, our community is here for you; please use this link to contact Jewish Collaborative Services for assistance or call 401.331.5772.

Thank you from the bottom of our collective hearts for considering this.

Wishing you good health.
Sincerely,

Adam Greenman
President & CEO
