Israel-in-a-Box is back!

Bring the Yom HaAtzmaut (Israel’s Independence Day) celebration to your home!

This year we are excited to offer two different Israel-in-a-Box options:

  • One for Families (with children ages pre-K through middle school)
  • One for Teens and Adults

The boxes contain a booklet of activities, links to online content (including music, games, and videos), supplies for arts and crafts, a virtual scavenger hunt, and some Israeli snacks! And be sure to check out the family program we are planning for Yom HaAtzmaut (Thursday, April 15), where you can use some of the contents of the Box to participate.

Registration for Israel-in-a-Box has closed.

As an added bonus, the box for teens and adults will include a mosaic kit to create your own Shabbat candle holders. Join artist Nancy Katz, who will lead a Zoom presentation on Sunday, April 11, at 7:30pm to illustrate how to make this hands-on project.

Israel-in-a-Box comes at no cost to participants–thanks to the generosity of the Alliance’s Community Relations Council and Relief and Recovery Fund, along with Temple Beth-El, Temple Emanu-El and Temple Habonim. If you’d like to support more community projects like this, please consider making a donation to the Alliance Annual Community Campaign.
