Wednesday, October 13 at 5:00pm via Zoom (sign up below to receive the link)
No cost to participate

Matan Graf (our former shaliach/Israeli emissary) and Amit Moshe Oren (our new shaliach) will discuss how our partnership area of Afula/Gilboa has been experiencing exponential growth in recent years as it becomes the industrial and social “capital” of the Lower Galilee region of Israel. This is one of the parts of Israel where Arab and Jewish workers of diverse backgrounds come together to build stronger communities to elevate their living conditions. Matan, whose family still farms in the area, will share his unique insights.

Why Afula & The Gilboa?
To create greater collective impact and to develop more personal relationships between New Englanders and Israelis, most of the Jewish federations of Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island have established a partnership with Afula and The Gilboa Region, located in the lower Galilee area of Israel. The partnership is called the Southern New England Consortium (SNEC) of Partnership2Gether.

Brought to you by the Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island and the Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts.
