At the Jewish Alliance, we are committed to the safety and security of our entire community. This is why we have embarked on a Community Security Campaign — to safeguard our day schools, synagogues and congregations, agencies, and institutions.
This Giving Tuesday, we are asking for your help.
Funds raised through this special campaign, in addition to dollars already procured through the Jewish Federation Foundation and an anonymous donor will support a grants process to defray the costs of recommended security upgrades. Through a series of already-conducted community-wide security evaluations, we have set a fundraising goal of $300,000. These funds will help secure the physical spaces cherished by so many in our community; allow security professionals to provide education and guidance to all institutions — ensuring proper procedures in the event of an incident or emergency; and, implement a high-quality security communications system to transmit alerts throughout our area.
Like you, we value the strength of our community and are committed to keeping everyone safe. In response to recent events around the world — and here at home — we understand security funding is essential and deserves our immediate attention. We ask that you consider a gift to this special campaign.
Thank you in advance for your participation in the Community Security Campaign and for the commitment you make each and every day to protecting all we value. Together we will take the necessary steps to reinforce security across greater Jewish Rhode Island.
