Alliance Family Room Parenting Center

A place for families to congregate, educate, create, and relate.

If you haven’t already heard, we have a wonderful new place at the Alliance JCC that was made especially for you!  The room has a space for everyone in your family.  There is a sitting area for adults, where they can watch the Today Show after school drop-off, while catching up with a friend over a cup of coffee.  The PJ Library reading area provides comfortable seating and a variety of seasonal books for children and parents to enjoy.  Infants and toddlers can feel right at home in the “soft play” area, equipped with age appropriate toys.  Tables and chairs, even highchairs, provide community members a spot to enjoy a quick lunch or snack, and the kid’s art counter is always stocked with crayons, scissors and glue.  To the delight of all the children who enter the room, there is a playhouse with a kitchen and market counter for pretend play, magna-tiles for building, and a car track for toy cars.  It is our hope that the Alliance Family Room Parenting Center becomes your home away from home, a place for families to congregate, educate, create, and relate.
