Let the Creativity Center bring learning to a new level
The Creativity Center is well-known as a destination not just for educators but now for families, too. The center offers users access to a unique selection of educational ideas, materials, art supplies, as well as fun, creative resources, games, and posters. Users also have access to a collection of production machines and tools not available in most school districts.
A creative lab, networking site, and production facility for instructional materials, the Creativity Center supports teachers in all their teaching adventures. The Creativity Center Coordinator consults with educators to assist in lesson planning, and project design and creation. Valuable materials for many of our schools and programs are available through our affiliation with Recycling for Rhode Island Education.
The Creativity Center offers programs and workshops to day school classes. Students have the opportunity to visit the center with their teachers to work on specific projects.
Working in conjunction with the Alliance’s Shalom Family team, the Creativity Center also offers holiday-related workshops for families as well as outreach and community-building activities. For individuals 12 and older the Creativity Center is available for holiday and celebration needs, for example, wimple, Bar/Bat Mitzvah centerpieces, decorations, sukkah decorations, etc. Students 12 and older may also work on school projects.
